About Yingyue's Work
My research interests evolve around cooperation between grassland herdsmen, water- energy-food nexus, and modeling environmental and social systems. In the past several years, I have been carrying fieldwork on topics of migrant workers, agriculture development, and environmental policy making all around China. I published several papers in Chinese and took part in writing four book chapters about ecological civilization in China, public capital, economics methodology and urbanization. I followed my passion to be a geographer. My dissertation will build upon my economic expertise and focus on comparative analysis of decision rules in agricultural spatially-explicit agent-based models.
