Yaqian He

Dr. Yaqian He is an assistant professor in the Department of Geography at Indiana University Bloomington. As a broadly trained Earth Observation/Remote Sensing scientist, her research interests focus on: (1) land cover and land use change (LCLUC), (2) LCLUC-climate interaction, (3) agricultural sustainability, and (4) air quality and human health; She leverages a wide range of approaches, including Earth Observation/Remote Sensing, GIS, statistical methods, machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) algorithms, and Earth System models.
