About Xin's Work
This guy got his PhD degree from Nanjing Agricultural University at 2013 and in the same year became a faculty member of Land Resource Management Department in Jiangsu Normal University. From 2015 to 2016 he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada. His research interests focus on land resource optimization. As we know resource allocation is the eternal issue of human activities, however, for land resource, due to its spatial heterogeneity, multiple objectives and sites, the allocation becomes quite complex and difficult. Now he is trying to integrate the relevant economical knowledge and mathematical model to resolve it, also to investigate the impacts of uncertainties on land resource optimization.
His research projects” Regional (subnational) optimal land resources allocation under uncertainties” and “The theories and methods for uncertain land spatial optimization” were funded by Notational Natural Science Foundation of
China and Foundation Research Project of Jiangsu Province, respectively. He has published several papers on some international journals such as《Computers, Environment and Peri-Urban & Urban Systems,》and 《Ecological Complexity》.
