Xavier Haro-Carrión

I am land system scientist interested in the analysis of human-environment interactions. My strength for such analyses relies in the use of Earth Observation/Remote Sensing techniques to evaluate changes of vegetation, land-cove at different spatial and temporal scales, and the consequences of these changes for biodiversity. While I conduct most of my research in Ecuador, I consider the Neotropics my geographic area of expertise.
