About Victor Hugo's Work

I am a dedicated Research Fellow with a background in agricultural engineering and a Ph.D. in Earth Observation/Remote Sensing from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) in Brazil. My expertise lies in leveraging combined multisensor data, particularly from optical and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery, for detailed crop mapping and monitoring. Currently, at the University of Michigan, I am developing Earth Observation/Remote Sensing products to provide insights into crop sowing times, areas, and dynamics in , Smallholder farming systems, to enhance agricultural sustainability and farmer management practices.
