About Thao's Work
I am currently studying the drivers and impacts of sustainable agricultural supply chain initiatives in mainland Southeast Asia at the University of British Columbia. My research is grounded in long-term and empirical qualitative fieldwork, with experience working alongside local communities and NGOs in both rural and urban contexts. My theoretical approaches draw insights from political ecology, sustainable livelihoods, as well as human and environmental geographies.
