Tagore Sai Priya Nunna

Dr. Tagore Sai Priya Nunna is an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering with a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, specializing in land systems, urban planning, and environmental sustainability. Her research focuses on land use and land cover dynamics, sustainable land management, urban growth, tourism-driven spatial development, geospatial analytics, and the environmental impacts of land-use change.

She has contributed to interdisciplinary research projects funded by organizations including ICLEI and the World Bank, addressing issues such as land use change, land surface temperature, climate resilience, and public spaces. Her work integrates GIS, remote sensing, machine learning, and spatial analysis to support evidence-based land governance and sustainable urban development.

Dr. Nunna has published in peer-reviewed international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, and has presented her research at leading international conferences, including the AGU Fall Meeting and the World ISOCARP Congress. She is an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Town Planners (ITPI) and is committed to advancing collaborative research on land system science, environmental sustainability, and policy-relevant solutions through international research networks such as the Global Land Programme.
