About Tagele's Work
Dr. Tagele Mossie Aschale is a hydroclimatologist and climate risk researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Durham University. He earned his PhD from the University of Catania, specializing in hydroclimate extremes, flash drought monitoring, and the impacts of renewable energy systems on hydrology. His research integrates climate reanalysis data (e.g., ERA5-Land), remote sensing, and climate projections to develop early warning systems and resilience strategies for Africa and Europe. He is actively seeking collaboration, networking, and funding opportunities in climate risk modeling, energy system resilience, flash droughts, food security, and urban multi-hazard risk assessment.
