Susanne Kleemann

Susanne Kleemann (until 2025 Stoll-Kleemann) I am Chair of Sustainability Science and Applied Geography at the University of Greifswald. My research focuses on climate-just behavior and the conditions for genuine socio-ecological transformation at the interface between individual behavior and politico-economic framework conditions. I also research ocean literacy, governance and identity with a focus on transformational processes at the French Mediterranean and the German Baltic Sea coast. A new focus is coastal erosion and adaptation narratives.
