About Sunita's Work
I am a forester with special interests in ecosystem management. Using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, I explore the complex human-nature relationships for just ecosystem management. I have more than 5 years of experience from the Hindu Kush Himalayas region where I was involved in different projects on peopleForests and wetlands to inform better landscape planning and management. My doctoral research investigated the evolution of ecosystem services as a globalising discourse and analysed the impacts, in terms of policy uptake, and potential, the risks and opportunities of the discourse in Nepal.
