About Srabashi's Work
My research focuses on food systems transformation at the nexus of human and natural sustainability. I use theoretically grounded, spatially explicit and systems-oriented modeling approaches to link location specific environmental challenges to it global drivers and vice versa, i.e., the Global-Local-Global approach. This work highlights how decisions by fine-scale actors, interact across scales through markets, generating spillovers across geographically distant regions, shaping sustainability outcomes and offers opportunities for policy solutions.
