Affiliation: Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania.

Expertise and research focus: An environmental scientist specializing in eco-toxicology, water quality, biodiversity conservation, and Sustainable Land Management. She is deeply interested in the science-policy interface, working to bridge research and policy for effective wetland conservation and sustainable land use. She served as a Lead author for the IPBES NEXUS assessment (2022 to 2024) on thematic assessment of the inter-linkages between biodiversity, food, water, and health.
