About Silvia's Work
Human activities simultaneously rely on and damage ecosystems. My work focuses on understanding, quantifying and improving these trade-offs. Specifically, I currently work on the SHEFS-SA project, in which I am researching how ecosystem services impact human health through food systems in southern Africa.
