About Shiva's Work
My research interests include the use of quantitative approaches for data analysis and modeling, with a focus on spatial ecology and geoinformatics. I specialize in monitoring forest carbon and land-use change. I have experience applying statistical methods, machine learning, and geospatial analysis to investigate the relationships between forest structure, composition, and carbon stocks. My research involves developing and applying spatial models to large areas, aiming to map and estimate forest carbon stocks at multiple scales.
