About Sanjay Singh's Work
DR. SANJAY SINGH RATHORE, Ph.D. (IARI, New Delhi), FISA, FRMSI, FIAHF, currently working as a Head Division of Agronomy, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi and National Coordinator of World Bank funded National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP). Earlier Dr Rathore served as Executive (PE) in National Dairy Development Board (2001-2002), ARS- Scientist at ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland, Jharnapani (2003 -2008), Senior Scientist (Agronomy) at ICAR-DRMR, Bhartapur (2008-2015), and Principal Scientist at the Division of Agronomy, IARI, Pusa, New Delhi (2015-2023). Published 150 international and national research papers and six books. Developed IFS models under jhum cultivation, efficient irrigation water management, and resource conservation technologies for mustard-based cropping systems, suitable agri horti, and potential crop diversification options in maize-based systems for limited water conditions. Developed sustainable crop intensification options for IGPs and Eastern Himalayan regions. Received ICAR Junior and Senior Research Fellowship during master's and doctorate programmes. Also received the Young Scientist Associate 2012 Award, Distinguished Scientist Award 2014, Dhiru Morarji Memorial Award 2007, 2019, Sri Ram Purskar 2018, 2020 from FAI.
