Saheed Adebisi

He is a Sustainable Development Advocate and Project Manager; Research Scientist in Plant Molecular Genetics, Biodiversity Conservation and Climate Solutions. An Academic Staff at Osun State University, Nigeria and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Goettingen, Germany. 

He is a trained expert in sustainability and solutions projects development, management, monitoring and communication by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UN SDSN) New York. A winner of international research fellowships, project delegation and high-level solutions meetings travel grants to Germany, the USA, Sweden and a few Nigeria States, from the German largest research study exchange programme, DAAD and the German Agency for International Cooperation, GIZ, Germany. 

He works with local, Regional (subnational) and international organisations on a professional network of over 5000 development experts and researchers from over 50 countries of the global South and North of the world. 

He studied at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso; the University of Ibadan, both in Nigeria and Göttingen University, Germany. 

Currently, a facilitator of multi-stakeholders, trans-disciplinary and cross-Regional (subnational) plant biodiversity research for communities in Southwest Nigeria for conservation and economic purposes.
