About Rumbidzai's Work
I am a dedicated agricultural economist and researcher from Zimbabwe with over two years of experience in the field. My expertise encompasses research, data collection, data analysis, and rural development, with a focus on improving the livelihoods of , Smallholder farmers. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied and Agricultural Economics from the University of Zimbabwe, where I covered various relevant topics, including Statistics/Econometrics and agricultural policy.
Throughout my career, I have successfully employed diverse data collection tools, both digital and traditional, and have a strong command of analytical software such as SPSS and Stata. My work has involved conducting impact evaluations and managing projects aimed at sustainable agricultural practices.
I am passionate about addressing critical issues such as climate change, Food Security/Sovereignty, and social inclusion. My strong communication and organizational skills enable me to work effectively in team settings and engage with various stakeholders. I am committed to continuous learning and contributing to the mission of advancing Sustainable Land Management practices.
