Regine Schoenenberg

Dr. Regine Schönenberg is a political scientist working on socio-ecological transformation processes in the Brazilian, and lately as well in the Peruvian and Bolivian Amazon. Her emphasis lies on the interdependence between fast social transformation and the criminalization of entire life worlds. Since almost 30 years, her research laboratory is the Amazon where she is working in interdisciplinary projects mainly with natural scientists, currently in the BMBF-project PRODIGY at the Latin American Institute of Free University à https://www.lai.fu-berlin.de/prodigy/index.html Additionally, she is interested in intercultural peer-learning processes which she practices in teaching and consultancies all over the world.
