Working as Professor in the Department of Geography Bodoland University since 2020. Obtained PhD in 2008 and Master of Population Studies in 2001 from International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, India, and Master of Arts in Geography from North Eastern Hill University, India in 1998. Presented papers in National and International Conferences/ Seminars.
