September 2019 to October 2022: Project Leader, Developing and supervision of Data collection on the general primates – Rungwe Nature Forest Reserve, Kitulo National Park and Livingstone Ecosystem Funded by Rufford and data collection on land use/cover dynamics in the Livingstone Mountain Systems, Ecosystem - Funded by ACE II – SUA pest Management. May 2016 to 30th May 31, 2018, Supervision of Village game scouts and joint TANAPA (Tanzania National Parks), Village Game Scouts and TAWA (Tanzania Wildlife Authority) Anti-poaching operations along the Serengeti Ecosystem.Research Assistant, Assessing the Fish and Amphibians of the Serengeti National Park Using eDNA. Assessing the impact of a wild-herbivore grazing gradient and pasture management on landscape-scale woodiness of the Serengeti National Park Landscape under AfricanBioServices Project. Assessing vegetation quality, food chain and web in Serengeti, and above and below ground productivity. We developed the parameters to me monitored for the vegetation quality assessment, and published 3 papers under peer review papers. June 2012- May 2015, Project Coordinator for Udzungwa Ecological Monitoring Center (UEMC), this is an Italian research based organization where various projects are attached, this included Association Mazingira (Community conservation Project), primate monitoring in the Udzungwa Mountain Systems, National Park and Udzungwa Scarp forest reserve, Leopard project (Assessing the population structure of Leopards of Udzungwa using Camera traps), Tropical Ecology Assessment and Monitoring (TEAM), where vegetation, small mammals were monitored through cameras, Wadudu Project, where various methods for assessing invertebrates were employed. As project coordinator my roles were planning and implementing all project activities, developing budget, analyzing and creating reports to multi donors after every three months for funds sustainability. Supervising and planning for the patrol (anti-poaching) activities for the Magombera Forest Reserve, Udzungwa scarp Forest Reserve and Kilombero wetland. Achievement: Assisted 13 PhD students from Denmark, Norway, Italy, USA and Germany, assisted in fund raising and construction of Udzungwa Visitors Information Center (VIC), Established a digital weather and climate station on Udzungwa and produced a 36 months’ continuous data on rainfall and temperature, Developed and trained 12 Ecologists on camera trapping, developed anti – joint anti – poaching programs that are on duty to date, developed a checklist for the mammals of Udzungwa Mountain Systems, National Park, Established education programs for 12 primary and 4 secondary school, and planted 12000 trees in four villages in the Kilombero district.
