About Perpetual Mawusinu's Work
Perpetual Mawusinu Katsriku is a dedicated researcher in plant pathology and environmental sustainability, with a strong interest in land-use dynamics and their impact on plant health. She holds an MPhil in Crop Science (Plant Pathology) from the University for Development Studies, Ghana, where she focused on the management of Black Mold in shallots using botanical fungicides.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of plant disease ecology, sustainable agriculture, and climate change adaptation. She has been actively involved in climate research and innovation projects, particularly addressing air pollution's effects on crop health in the Sahel region. Perpetual is currently exploring Ph.D. opportunities in plant pathology, focusing on host-pathogen interactions, disease epidemiology, and integrated disease management strategies.
With a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration, she seeks to contribute to the Global Land Program by advancing research on Sustainable Land Management, soil health, and plant-microbe4 interactions in the context of environmental change.
