About Patricia's Work
When different disciplines, interests, and sectors come together at the same table, teams in academia, organizations, and institutions often struggle to find common ground.
My name is Patricia Santillán-Carvantes. I research, design, and facilitate dialogue processes that help integrate these diverse voices so they can be heard and make decisions together.
I hold a PhD in Sustainability Sciences (Leuphana University, Germany), a Master’s degree in Statistics Applied to Agronomy (Agrocampus Ouest, France), and a Master’s degree in Natural Resources Management (UNAM, Mexico).
My current postdoctoral research focuses on rural producers and on how their value chains can be strengthened from a biocultural perspective, while becoming more financially and environmentally sustainable.
