Oleksandr Karasov

I got PhD in Environmental Science at the Estonian University of Life Sciences in 2020. Since then, I worked as a Research Fellow in Geoinformatics at the University of Tartu (2020-2021; took part at the national assessment of ecosystem services in Estonia using social media data, developed methodology for spatially explicit income prediction with remotely sensed and Google Street View data). Currently I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki, analysis of the cross-border commuting behaviour with social media data.
