About Norbert François's Work

: I am an Agricultural/civil engineer holding a Certificate in advanced studies (CAS) in integrated water resources management from Bern University of Applied sciences, a Master of advanced studies (MAS) in technology and sustainable development from the international Institute for water and environmental engineering, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso a diploma n international environmental Law from UNITAR, Geneva and a specialized postgraduate certificate in Technology and sustainable development from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) India and EPFL. Before that, I had a postgraduate certificate in Agricultural Hydraulic from EIER Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and a Bachelor degree in Agricultural Engineering. My area of specialisation in MSc was to study the evolution of erosion and runoff on tropical iron soil at Saria, Burkina Faso. In addition to Agricultural Engineering, I have obtained a diploma in Business development service at the International training centre of ILO, Italy as well which has enhanced my customer relationship and business development skills to a great extent. My technical and business qualification and experience support my claims made above that I can not only work in a range of areas which are directly related to agricultural and environmental engineering but I can be effective in climate change as well. Currently, I am the rector at Kesmonds International University, Ngaoundere and assiciate Professor at tne University of Ebolowa, Cameroon. Previously I was a visiting scholar at the MIT-DUSP (USA) from 2014-2015 and I was also assistant lecturer (Distance learning) at the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE), Ouagadougou from 2007-2012.
