About Nnaemeka's Work

Michael N. IHENACHO is a Earth Observation/Remote Sensing scientist whose research interests focus on land-use land cover mapping, change detection, land suitability analysis and urban Earth Observation/Remote Sensing/GIS studies. He graduated from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State and African Regional (subnational) Center for Space and Technical Education in – English (ARCSTE-E), Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, Nigeria with the degree of Bachelor of EstateManagement (Hons) in 2011 and a post-graduate diploma (Pgd) in Earth Observation/Remote Sensing and Geographic Informational Science in 2014. He proceeded further, graduating with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Geographical Information Science (2015) from the University of  Manchester, United Kingdom (UK).

He is affiliated with a number of professional organisations/societies: National General Secretary, Astronomy Without Borders (AWB), Nigeria; Member, Geoinformation Society of Nigeria (GEOSON); Member, Space General Advisory Council (SGAC); amongst others.
