About Nazmul's Work
Nazmul Huq is a Bangladeshi national and a research associate and lecturer at the Institute for Technology in the Tropics (ITT) of Cologne University of Applied Sciences, Cologne, Germany. He has completed his Ph.D. on "Ecosystem Services and Human Livelihood in the Wetlands of Bangladesh" from the University of Trier, Germany; Master on Human Ecology from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium and Bachelor on Urban and Rural Planning from Khulna University, Bangladesh. He has extensive research experiences on the issues of social-ecological interaction in coastal landscapes, spatial ecosystem services assessment, nature-human spatial connectivity and dependency, and ecosystem-based climate change adaptation at various research institutes including the United Nations University.
