About Munish Kumar's Work
Currently, I am working as a Programme Associate at CEEW-New Delhi under Sustainable Water Programme. I am working on the intersection of Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem Nexus in broader sense. Prior to this I worked as Indo-Belgium Postdoctoral Fellow at Centre for Environmental Science and Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kanpur, India. There I worked on Chromium chemistry and speciation in groundwater, wastewater, agricultural soil and crops. In December 2021, I have completed my Ph.D in Environmental Science from BHU Varanasi in collaboration with BARC-Mumbai and IISER-Kolkata. During my Ph.D. I have developed Thiourea based chemical intervention methodology to reduce arsenic loading in field grown rice crop.
