7. Research/Administrative Experience
I have 1 year research experience at MSc level and 3 years research experience at PhD level. I can plan, conduct research, analyze data and write technical report. I have conducted research on intercropping of coriander and linseed in wheat and my thesis was accepted by Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). In PhD level I have conducted research on mungbean (Vigna Radiata) aimed at finding suitable genotypes for nutrient stress condition. I was successful in my attempt and my dissertation was accepted by Bangabandhu Shiekh Mijubur Rahman Agricultural University.
After joining in the Soil Resource Development Institute as Scientific Officer (Bangladesh Civil Service-Agriculture) I had the opportunity to gather experience about the soil and land resources of Bangladesh- its potentialities and limitations, cropping systems, socio-economic conditions of farmers and their farming practices while carrying out semi detailed soil survey in 18 upazilas (sub-district)of Jamalpur, Sherpur, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Manikganj, Rangpur, Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Kurigram districts, and detailed soil surveys of 3 farms covering major physiography of Bangladesh.
I have implemented two research projects and one training project with the financial assistance of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council.
I have experience in running divisional and district offices of SRDI.
