Mohamed Heban Awale

Agriculture and livestock production expert with over 18 years as a research and development specialist engaging in research, and training, facilitation, project design, and project management at Amoud University, Faculty of Agriculture, Environment, and Animal Science. Fieldwork includes short- and long-term assignments throughout Somalia and Africa. Lecturer for various courses on Animal Science, Agricultural Sciences, Climate change, and Environmental Protection. He earned his MSc in rural development and pastoral economics. Currently, he is working as director of international partnerships and a project Manager of Darwin Climate Resilience, food and livelihood security for Agro-pastoralists in Somalia.
