About Moges Kidane's Work

I am a Soil Scientist and Geospatial Modeler specializing in soil health assessment and sustainable land management. Currently a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Florida, my work integrates machine learning, GIS, and remote sensing to develop scalable frameworks for soil nutrient mapping and geonutrition, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. I previously served as the Dean of the School of Natural Resources at Ambo University, where I led large scale projects on land use dynamics and watershed modeling. My goal is to advance data driven land system science to improve climate resilience and food security
