Mayra Elena Gavito Pardo

Biologist specialized in Soil Science, with emphasis in Soil Ecology and Soil Management. Appointed as researcher at the Research Institute in Ecosystems and Sustainability of the National Autonomous University of Mexico since 2004. Head of the Sustainable Soils. Investigates the resilience of soil ecosytem functions and biodiversity under diverse stressors like climatic alterations, land-use and land-cover change and forms of management, considering their socio-ecological contexts.
