Mayaya Mack

Mayaya K. S. Mack is a Tanzanian sustainable development practitioner, social entrepreneur, and community development leader with experience in sustainable livelihoods, entrepreneurship, environmental conservation, climate resilience, and programme management. He is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Sustainable Beekeeping and Human Development (SuBeHuDe), a Tanzanian non-profit organization advancing inclusive and community-led development through climate-smart livelihoods, environmental restoration, and economic empowerment.
Mayaya is also Co-Founder of Sustainable Beekeeping for Development Company Limited (SBDC Ltd.), a social enterprise developing market-based solutions in sustainable beekeeping, agri-food systems, ecosystem restoration, circular economy, and renewable energy.
His work has contributed to programmes reaching 100,000+ beneficiaries, training 20,000+ community members, empowering 3,000+ vulnerable individuals, and establishing 15+ family-based beekeeping enterprises.
He holds qualifications in Beekeeping, Forest and Beekeeping, Project Planning and Management, and Permaculture Design, and specializes in partnerships, resource mobilization, programme development, and sustainable enterprise development.
