About Markus's Work
I’m a natural resource management expert with a strong technical background in geospatial analysis, GIS, Earth Observation/Remote Sensing and carbon accounting, while thematically my focus has been in forest monitoring, REDD+, LULUCF, conservation planning, landscape approach and land tenure. I have seven years of international experience from development banking, consultancy, academia and NGOs, while I’m also a publishing researcher.
