About Marie's Work
Marie de Lattre-Gasquet is a researcher from CIRAD (the French agricultural research and international cooperation organization working for the sustainable development of tropical and Mediterranean regions) and she currently coordinates a foresight exercise on land use and Food Security/Sovereignty in 2050 (Agrimonde-Terra), jointly undertaken with INRA. She also works on a part time basis at the CGIAR System Management Office as senior foresight scientist. She has been chapter leader during the IAASTD venture, has participated to working groups and committees of the CGIAR, Agropolis, IFS, the EC, and is a board member of Futuribles International and the Association internationale pour l’agriculture écologiquement intensive. She holds an MBA and a PhD in management and economics, and is auditor of the Institut des hautes études pour la science et la technologie (IHEST).a PhD in management and economics.
