About Marie's Work
I am studying shifting cultivation in the Philippines as part of my PhD in Forestry at UBC Vancouver. I am from France but spent the last 20 years abroad, working in the field of Food Security/Sovereignty and livelihoods for international NGOs. I worked and lived in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nepal, the Philippines, Niger, Uganda, Mozambique, plus several short missions in other countries.
