About Maria Virginia's Work
Biology PhD student working with urban environments, its dynamics, sinergies and socio-environmental impacts. Interested in urban ecology, Earth Observation/Remote Sensing and environmental justice. Biologist graduated from Universidad Nacional de Tucuman working at Instituto de Ecologia Regional (subnational) (CONICET-Tucuman).
Currently studying urban dynamics in tropical andes and its impacts in exotic plants introductions, changes in plant composition and traits through an urban rural gradient and a chronosequence of development. Moreover, involved in projects about green spaces access and hidrological dynamics in urban centers of Argentina.
