Margherita Emma Turvani,  professor of Economics,  Venice International University Fellow, Director of the Dual Master Degree in Urban Planning, University IUAV & CAUP Tongji University, Executive Director of the IUAV-CAUP Joint Research Center URBES. Her research focus on Sustainability applied to urban and Regional (subnational) economics and development. She teaches at IUAV and V.I.U.  and at IESD Program, UNEP-TONGJI, China.
