Marcela Cely-Santos

 I am a biologist and agroecologist from Colombia interested in understanding socio-ecological dynamics in human-dominated landscapes. My research focuses on understanding ecological processes in human-dominated landscapes; the socio-cultural roles of biodiversity in agricultural lands; how socio-economic and political and factors influence biodiversity conservation; and how to bridge multiple systems of knowledge to promote biodiversity conservation and human well-being.
