B.Sc. degree in Physics at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, 1997. M.Sc. degree in Earth Observation/Remote Sensing at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), 2000, Brazil. PhD in Production Ecology and Resource Conservation at Wageningen University, The Netherlands (2014). Project manager at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ) at the Oil Spill Monitoring Centre (CeMOM) from 2002 to 2004. Consultant at Threetek Solções em Geomática (2004-2005). Assistant researcher at INPE together with Planetary Skin Institute (CISCO) from 2010 to 2012. Team manager at the National Early Warning and Monitoring Centre of Natural Disaster (CEMADEN) from 2012 to 2015. Posdoc researcher at INPE and Alberdeen University to investigate land demand in Brazil vs. national/international food security. Technical Assistant in the project FIP Paisagens at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (2022-2023). Since 2023 she is a Project manager at INPE in the Programa de Monitoramento por Satélite dos Biomas Brasileiros (BiomasBR), CNPq 44418/2018-0 Monitoramento dos Biomas Brasileiros por Satélite – construção de novas capacidades.
