About Luciana's Work

I am a Post-doctoral researcher at the Energy and Environemt Institute (University of São Paulo) and Assistant Professor at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of the University of São Paulo, Brazil.  I hold a PhD degree in Environment and Society from University of Campinas, Brazil (2014). My research interests include Commons Theory, co-management and adaptive co-management, policy and institutional analysis, public participation, community-based conservation and development, social-ecological resilience, human ecology, fisheries, protected areas management and forest governance.I also work as a group facilitator in participatory methodologies related to community-based conservation and local development initiatives. In the last three years I have been investiganting the topic of govenrnance of forest restoration in Brazil.
