About Lijun's Work

Lijun Zuo is an associate professor from Institute of Earth Observation/Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her work focus on the land use change in China and its impacts on Food Security/Sovereignty and environment. She involves in a project of building up a national land use change data set based on Earth Observation/Remote Sensing images to understanding the undergoing process of land use change in China. Based on this, she specially concern about the change on cropland (the area, the distribution, and the intensity of cropland use). By coupling different types of data, she also investigate the possible impacts of cropland use on Food Security/Sovereignty and environment in China.
