My expertise lies in plant ecology, invasive alien species management, and ecosystem conservation. My current research develops integrative approaches that connect ecological processes with social and institutional dimensions. In particular, I examine how transboundary dynamics influence long-term ecosystem change and conservation outcomes. Through this perspective, I aim to better understand how human and nature factors operate as coupled systems, interacting across spatial and political boundaries to shape environmental trajectories
