I am holding an associate professor position at the Department of Earth Observation/Remote Sensing and GIS, Space Research and Technology Institute, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (SRTI-BAS). My my research interests are in Earth Observation/Remote Sensing (VIS, NIR, TIR, SWIR, microwave), GIS, Landscape Ecology, Land Use/Land Cover (LU/LC), Environmental Management, Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI), Spatial Decision Support Systems (SDSS), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Spatial Planning, Multivariate Statistics.
