About Krishna Prasad's Work
Krishna Prasad Acharya, a conservation professional, possesses a career over 30 years. His contributions have been marked by leadership roles as a Coordinator for developing conservation landscapes in Nepal, shaping national conservation strategies, community forestry, protected areas management, forest management and local livelihoods improvement. He was in charge of program implementation of Terai Arc Landscape, Chitawan Annapurna Conservation Landscape, Kanchanjunga Conservation and Development Initiatives.
Dr. Acharya's research findings on diverse landscape conservation areas have been published in several international journals. Presently, he is serving as Adjunct Professor, Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry and teaches Forest Policy.
