About Julieta Rocío's Work
My research focuses on land-use and land-cover change, including deforestation, urban expansion, and biological invasions, as well as ecosystem function mapping and landscape connectivity analysis. I am interested in understanding how human-driven landscape transformations affect ecological systems and in developing spatially explicit information to support sustainable land-use decisions.
