About José Pablo's Work

I am a tenured professor at the Department of Social Sciences and Rural Development at the Faculty of Agronomy, Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. I completed my MSc in Environmental Sustainability and my PhD in Conservation Ecology at the University of Edinburgh and at the University of Copenhagen, respectively. I currently sit at the board of Action Aid-International and and I am the current vice-president for the Association for the Governance Betterment of Land, Water and Natural Resources -aGter-. I am mostly interested in the intersection between critical theory and ecology and play an associate researcher role for agroecology-, critical-earth-observation-, and sustainability-related projects.
