About José's Work
José Aragón is a PhD student at UNBC in Canada. His research is about the Human Footprint of Ecuador and Peru. Geographer with experience in rural cadastre projects and forest conservation in the Amazon of Ecuador. He has worked with indigenous peoples and settlers in research on tenure and productive structures. Participated in the Amazonian Geo-referenced Socio-Environmental Information Network (RAISG) as a spatial analyst for Ecuador.
