Jingxia Wang

Jingxia has a background in land resource management, land use planning as well as landscape and urban planning. As a scholar who sits at the boundary of geography and environmental science, she has strong interests in Landscape Ecology research, the mapping and assessment of ecosystem services, multifunctional green infrastructure planning, and urban analytics. She has worked on projects regarding urbanization and sustainable urban development at multiple spatial scales, which have been undertaken in Chinese cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia, Lijiang and several European cities. She acts as a reviewer for various international journals in the fields of ecological modeling, Earth Observation/Remote Sensing, landscape management, and land-use policy.
