Prof. Wu and his team’s research investigates climate change, grazing management, payment for ecosystem service, livelihood sustainability of herders, policy-making and assessment, plant community assembly, net primary productivity, biomass allocation strategy, soil and ecosystem respiration, resource use efficiency, functional group/trait diversity, and ecosystem multi-functionality of alpine grasslands on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. His team is also interested in the topics mentioned above for temperate prairies and alpine pastures worldwide.
