Japhet J. Kashaigili is a Full Professor at the Sokoine University of Agriculture and Director of the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, Research, Technology Transfer and Consultancy. His research field covers Applied Remote Sensing and GIS, Water Resources, Forest Hydrology, Hydrological modelling, Hydrogeology, Wetland Ecosystems Management, Spatial planning, Climate Change and Adaptations, Nature based solutions and Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment (SESA).
